Trompe l'oeil window with a view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower

Paris at sunset, Haussmannian rooftops as far as the eye can see, and the Eiffel Tower silhouetted in a golden light: this trompe l'oeil window gives the impression of observing the capital from a Parisian apartment located high up. The black woodwork, small panes, and wrought iron balcony enhance the realism of the scene and give it a very Parisian elegance.
A spectacular trompe l'oeil Paris painting
The particularity of this creation lies in its closed window. Here, no sash opens outwards: the landscape is seen through the panes, as if from inside a real apartment. This design allows for a variation in the aesthetic of open windows while maintaining a strong sense of depth.
In the foreground, the wrought iron railing and neighboring facades provide a realistic scale to the landscape. Further away, the buildings gradually fade into the horizon while the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower naturally becomes the focal point. This trompe l'oeil Paris painting thus plays on several planes to give the wall a depth it doesn't actually possess.
An Eiffel Tower trompe l'oeil with Haussmannian accents
Light plays a full part in the atmosphere. The sky with peach, dusty pink, and orange hues contrasts with the dark woodwork and grey roofs of the capital. This Eiffel Tower trompe l'oeil thus avoids the classic aesthetic of tourist views to favor the more intimate sensation of Paris observed from home.
In a living room, bedroom, entrance, or at the end of a hallway, this trompe l'oeil cityscape can become a true false opening. Its vertical format emphasizes the height of the window and is particularly well suited to a narrow wall where a horizontal composition would be less appropriate.

The 5 mm expanded PVC is particularly interesting for this creation. Rigid and very light, it allows for a perfectly flat surface while remaining discreet on the wall. The adhesive tabs provided simplify its attachment.
In 2 mm brushed Dibond aluminum, the rendering gains in finesse and sophistication. The luminous areas of the sky and the reflections of the sunset particularly highlight this finish.
With this trompe l'oeil window painting of Paris, the wall no longer seems to close off the room: it becomes the imaginary facade of an apartment with the Eiffel Tower on the horizon.

How to choose a modern painting for your home?
Choosing a modern painting primarily depends on the atmosphere you wish to create in your home. A graphic and contrasting wall art piece will add character to a contemporary living room, while an abstract or minimalist painting will naturally fit into a minimalist space.
The size of the painting also plays an essential role. A large format work becomes a strong focal point, whereas a more discreet format allows for harmonious integration with existing decor. Colors, contrasts, and artistic style must interact with the room's volumes and materials.
The choice of finish medium fully contributes to the final rendering of the artwork. Iconik-Art paintings are available on a stretched canvas frame for an authentic and pictorial look, on expanded PVC for a contemporary and lightweight finish, or on aluminum for a modern effect with subtle and elegant reflections.
Iconik-Art collections are designed to adapt to different living spaces, whether it's a living room, an office, or a bedroom. Each decorative painting is conceived to provide a strong visual signature while remaining consistent with the interior's balance.
How to hang the painting?
There are several methods for hanging a picture depending on the type of wall (plasterboard, concrete, wallpaper, etc.), but the simplest and most practical solution remains adhesive strips or nails (like TESA or 3M).
These systems are perfectly suited to our supports (canvas frame, aluminum or expanded PVC panel), require no drilling, and can be removed without leaving any traces if used correctly.
👉 Please note: We provide 4 adhesive strips per picture
