The female silhouette occupies almost the entire space. Her long pale blue dress unfolds down to the bottom of the painting while her oversized sleeves literally envelop the greyhound. The terracotta hat provides a sharp break in the midst of a deliberately soft palette. Facing them, the large powdery pink background accentuates the simplicity of the scene even further.

The 100% cotton canvas 340 g/m², stretched on a solid wood frame, accentuates the soft and pictorial dimension of the work. Its texture accompanies the irregularities of the drawing and gives more substance to the large pastel flat areas.
PVC offers a more graphic interpretation. Thin, rigid and smooth, it highlights the contours of the character and the greyhound while retaining the subtlety of the palette.
Aluminium provides a more refined and contemporary finish. The precision of its surface particularly highlights the large colored areas and the delicacy of the lines without distracting attention from the scene.
