Modern figurative painting green – Inner Horizon

Between abstraction and human presence, Inner Horizon offers a delicate and contemplative vision of modern figuration. At the center of the composition, a deliberately blurred female silhouette seems to move through an almost unreal landscape. Around her, geometric shapes, transparencies, and layers of material construct a universe dominated by shades of water green, turquoise, celadon, and luminous beige.
This modern figuration painting does not seek to precisely represent a scene. The figure becomes more of a presence, a landmark in the midst of an abstract space. This approach creates a work open to interpretation, somewhere between landscape, memory, and reverie.
A nuanced green painting
Color is one of the essential elements of the composition. Far from a uniform green, Inner Horizon combines very light aquatic tones with deeper greens, punctuated by ochre and mustard yellow touches.
This palette makes the work a particularly interesting green painting for adding color to an interior without falling into overly vibrant tones. The many nuances create a soft and luminous atmosphere, while the darker areas add depth to the whole.
Material effects are also very present: patinated surfaces, pictorial traces, transparencies, and irregularities give the visual a handcrafted and sensitive character.
Between figurative painting and contemporary abstraction
It is precisely this boundary that gives the work its full personality. The human silhouette immediately attracts the eye, but it remains sufficiently undefined to let the imagination build its own story. The large geometric flat areas and colored circles then break the classical reading of the landscape.
This green decorative painting will easily find its place in a contemporary living room, bedroom, entrance, or office. Its palette works particularly well with natural materials, light wood, cream, beige, or off-white tones.
Three supports to choose your rendering
Canvas accentuates the pictorial character of the work. Its slight texture complements the material effects already present in the creation and reinforces the impression of a true contemporary painting. Mounted on a wooden frame, this canvas painting also offers more volume to the wall.
PVC offers a more refined interpretation. Its smooth surface precisely reproduces the geometric shapes, variations of green, and the central silhouette. Thin and light, it is perfectly suited for modern decoration seeking a discreet and clean rendering.
Aluminum provides a more contemporary finish and excellent definition. It particularly highlights the play of transparency, the different turquoise nuances, and the contrasts between light and dark areas. Its thinness gives the whole a very graphic presence.

How to choose a modern painting for your home?
Choosing a modern painting primarily depends on the atmosphere you wish to create in your home. A graphic and contrasting wall art piece will add character to a contemporary living room, while an abstract or minimalist painting will naturally fit into a minimalist space.
The size of the painting also plays an essential role. A large format work becomes a strong focal point, whereas a more discreet format allows for harmonious integration with existing decor. Colors, contrasts, and artistic style must interact with the room's volumes and materials.
The choice of finish medium fully contributes to the final rendering of the artwork. Iconik-Art paintings are available on a stretched canvas frame for an authentic and pictorial look, on expanded PVC for a contemporary and lightweight finish, or on aluminum for a modern effect with subtle and elegant reflections.
Iconik-Art collections are designed to adapt to different living spaces, whether it's a living room, an office, or a bedroom. Each decorative painting is conceived to provide a strong visual signature while remaining consistent with the interior's balance.
How to hang the painting?
There are several methods for hanging a picture depending on the type of wall (plasterboard, concrete, wallpaper, etc.), but the simplest and most practical solution remains adhesive strips or nails (like TESA or 3M).
These systems are perfectly suited to our supports (canvas frame, aluminum or expanded PVC panel), require no drilling, and can be removed without leaving any traces if used correctly.
👉 Please note: We provide 4 adhesive strips per picture
